Frequently Asked questions

I am on a free plan. Can I upload my media files?
Unfortunately no. Media uploads are currently available only on our paid plans. You can host your media files externally and link to them within PuzzleMe.
Where is my media hosted?
Your media files are hosted on our cloud servers.
Is there a file size limit?
While we do not impose a limit on the file sizes, we recommend keeping the file sizes below 1MB. For high resolution jigsaw images, we would recommend keeping the images below 4MB in size.
Is there a storage limit?
Yes. Your available storage space for media upload depends on your plan. Please contact us for more details.
How do I increase my storage limit?
Please reach out to us if you would like to increase the storage limit.
Can I upload two files with the same name?
No. Currently, each separate file must have a unique file name. If you have previously uploaded a puzzle file, and later upload a puzzle file with a different name, the older file would be overwritten. Any puzzles where you had used the older file would start pointing to the newer file.
Can I delete previously uploaded files?
Currently you cannot delete a file once it is uploaded. This feature will be released soon.
If I clone my puzzle, are my media files cloned too?
No. Cloning your puzzle does not clone the media files. Both the original and the cloned puzzle continue to point to the same media file.
Can I upload the files to PuzzleMe and link them elsewhere on my website?
Media files uploaded to PuzzleMe are only meant for usage within our puzzles. Media uploads are not meant as a file hosting service. You can NOT link to the files from outside PuzzleMe.
Is there a bandwidth limit?
Currently, there are no separate charges or bandwidth limits. However, we reserve the right to introduce any such limitations in the future. Please note that loads for any puzzles where the media files are linked, will count against your puzzle loads limit.
