Embedding puzzles in your PowerPoint presentation

Understand how to embed PuzzleMe puzzles into your PowerPoint presentation
It is possible to embed PuzzleMe puzzles and pickers directly into your PowerPoint presentations.
Installation
To embed a puzzle, you need to first install the Microsoft Web Viewer add-in for PowerPoint.
You can install it from two sources:
- Use the web repository link for the Web Viewer add-ins
- Install it directly using the Get Add ins option within PowerPoint. For reference, please check out this article by Microsoft.
tip
This add-in needs to be installed on any computer which would be used for viewing the presentation, i.e. if you are distributing the ppt file to your solvers, they need to install the add-in too. If you are distributing the slides, we would recommend replacing the embed with a direct link to the puzzle.
Usage
- Ensure that the add-in is installed.
- Get the direct link to the puzzle/picker from the preview page.
- Under PowerPoint "Home" menu, click on the the Add-ins icon, and select Web Viewer.
- A web viewer element will be inserted in your slide.
- Paste the direct link to the puzzle in the URL field. Ensure that you remove the https:// part from the link.
- Click on the "Preview" button to the bottom right of the web viewer. The playable puzzle will now be shown in the slide. Adjust the size of the web viewer for an optimal layout.
The puzzle is now embedded and playable in the presentation!
