Objective

Learn how to manage content settings for a puzzle.

Content settings

These are visible in the Content tab in the game editor mode.

Settings covered:
  1. Game title
  2. Interface language.

Game title

The game title refers to the title of your puzzle. This is visible in two places:

  1. Below the game grid
  2. In the series picker component, where the puzzles are listed (if series picker is being used)

Steps to change game title

Changing the game title
  1. Go to the PuzzleMe dashboard.
  2. Find the game and click the "Edit Game" button next to it to enter the game editor mode.
  3. In the game editor mode, inside the Content tab, locate the Game Title input field.
  4. Update your game title.
  5. Click the "Update Game" button at the bottom of the page.

Interface language

The interface language refers to the language in which the interface of your game is implemented. This includes all the interface elements, such as the menu bar at the top of the game, and game-specific vocabulary, such as "Across" or "Down" inside a crossword.



Steps to change the interface language

  1. Go to the PuzzleMe dashboard.
  2. Find the game and click the "Edit Game" button next to it to enter the game editor mode.
  3. In the game editor mode, inside the Content tab, locate the Game Language input field.
  4. Select your desired game language from the options available.
  5. Click the "Update Game" button at the bottom of the page.
