Upload formats

Objective

Learn the different ways in which you can upload Rows Garden puzzle files.

Rows Garden puzzles can only be created using uploaded files. There is no online editor within the dashboard for creating Rows Garden puzzles from scratch.

To publish a puzzle, upload your file on the Rows Garden upload page.

Grid sizes and samples

You can publish the classic Rows Garden grid or the smaller Rows Bowl and Rowsette layouts—whichever fits what you're making. Download the sample files and upload it using the steps below to see a live preview.

Sample puzzles

• Standard Rows Garden (21 × 12)
• Rows Bowl (15 × 8)
• Rowsette (9 × 6)

File formats

Puzzles upload as .rg or .rgz (compressed). For a compressed example, see rows-garden-example.rgz. Sample files are also available on the PuzzleMe upload page for your reference.

How to upload

To upload a Rows Garden puzzle:

1. Go to the dashboard
2. Click Create in the navigation bar, then click New game
3. Click on Rows Garden, then choose your Series and click Upload
4. Upload your .rg or .rgz file by selecting it or dragging and dropping it into the upload panel
5. Review the imported puzzle and update title, attribution, and other information as needed
