June 2025

What's new?

1. Smarter and safer logins

We’ve rolled out a new email-based login system with 2FA to enhance the security of your account. If you haven’t already, you can set up your secure login and manage users directly from your Dashboard.

Please note that Legacy login methods will be disabled starting June 30, 2025. For any questions, feel free to reach out to us at product-support@amuselabs.com.

2. Now publish to Bluesky, WhatsApp and more

Introducing more ways to share your puzzles – Bluesky, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Medium, Notion, Slack, and Wix! Learn more.

3. Get puzzle info via our New Puzzles API

Our new Puzzles API lets you fetch puzzle-level details such as title, author, and publication time. If you're interested in trying the beta, reach out to us at product-support@amuselabs.com.

Enhancements

1. Delete series more efficiently

We’ve made series deletion more efficient – you no longer need to clear puzzles one by one and can now delete a series in a single step. That said, this action will remove all puzzles and cannot be undone, so we urge caution. Note that your puzzle analytics will still reflect deleted puzzles.

2. Now upload custom print PDFs

You can now choose to upload your own PDFs for printing, both blank and with solutions. When solvers click on "Print", they can download the version you’ve uploaded instead of the automatically generated PDF. Use your design, format, or layout to align with your style and branding.

Coming soon

1. Customize individual puzzles

In addition to the already available series-wide theming, you will be able to apply unique designs to individual puzzles.

2. Set your own puzzle UI copy

You will have the ability to customize select UI copy displayed to solvers in the player directly from your Series Settings, making it easier to match the tone of your brand.

May 2025

What's new?

1. Rewarded Ads

PuzzleMe now has the ability to use rewarded ads within embedded games. These ads can be invoked when a player wants to get help while playing a puzzle, such as by checking if the cells are correct.

2. Slack Integration

With our Slack app, you can share the puzzles you create, conduct contests, and display leaderboards for the top solvers right from within your Slack workspace. To try the app, go to the Publish page for a puzzle in your PuzzleMe account and choose the "Slack (Beta)" option. You can also refer to our documentation for help.

Enhancements

1. Advanced AI Instructions

You can now guide PuzzleMe AI by giving it specific instructions while creating a puzzle. You can use this powerful feature to create custom content that your audience will enjoy. As always, like with any AI product, please ensure you proofread and check the accuracy of the content.

2. Simplified WordPress Embeds

You can use our WordPress plugin to embed puzzles on your WordPress sites with just a simple shortcode. Check out our documentation for more details.

3. Better Vertical Quiz Design

You now have the option of choosing a vertical layout for the quiz. It has a neat look, is user-friendly, and the experience is great on mobile devices. So give it a try!

4. Rename Series

If you ever wish to change the display name of a series, you can now do so directly from within the Dashboard using the ‘Rename’ button.

Coming soon

1. PuzzleMe logins

We will be enhancing security for PuzzleMe accounts by rolling out individual email-based logins with two-factor authentication. If you are not using individual logins yet, you will soon be prompted to upgrade to this method. Once logged in, the designated admin will be able to add or delete other users to the account. While legacy password-based logins will be supported for a limited time, we urge you to upgrade to this new system at the earliest.

2. Puzzle Data API

We’re currently testing out an all-new API that will enable you to programmatically access puzzle’s metadata such as title, author and publication time. This API can allow you to customize your landing page for puzzles, providing more flexibility to experiment with design and copy.

3. Analytics API

We’re also testing out an API to retrieve play analytics for each puzzle or for a series. This will allow you to query and extract aggregate statistics of the kind you get in your regular reports
