Puzzle pickers

Objective

Understand what a picker is on PuzzleMe, the different picker types available, and which one fits your use case.

A picker is an embeddable component that lets visitors browse a set of your puzzles and choose which one to play, instead of embedding a single puzzle on its own. PuzzleMe offers a few kinds of pickers, each organizing and surfacing puzzles differently.

Picker types

List picker is available directly from your dashboard. Calendar and group pickers are set up with help from our team. Reach out to support to get one configured.

Puzzle Feed picker

The picker types above all display puzzles from a single series you build and manage yourself — they mostly only differ in layout.

The Puzzle Feed picker is a different kind of picker: it embeds Puzzle Feed, PuzzleMe's ready-made, auto-updating puzzle collections. It can embed multiple feeds at once, whichever ones you choose to add, instead of a single series of your own to maintain.

Every picker also comes with progress tracking, scheduled publication, and more. See Picker features for details.
