There advanced options are available only on our paid plans.
Customizing field names
By default, the form for collecting name/email/mobile uses the labels Participant(s) Name, Email Address and Mobile Number respectively. If you would like to collect custom data, such as contest registration number, employee ID or student roll number, the labels on these fields can be customized.
You can use this option to conduct contests while collecting minimal personally identifying information.
Mandating form submission
By default, name/email/mobile number submission is optional. Even if you have enabled the option, users have the choice to dismiss the form.
If required, one or more of these fields can be made mandatory. You can also ensure that the submitted information follows a specific format (for example, all roll numbers must be at least 7 digits, name fields cannot be non-empty etc.). Customized error messages can be shown whenever the information entered does not match the required format.
Countdown timers
By default, the timer in the puzzle counts upwards from 0. It can be customized to automatically count down to 0, from a specified time.
Alerts
By default, no alters are shown or sounded to the solvers when they are close to the threshold time. The timer can be customized to automatically alert the user with an audio alarm, when they are close to the time limit, as well as when they have exceeded the time limit.
Prevent multiple attempts
By default, in non contest mode, solvers can clear their progress and restart the puzzle, thereby resetting their time and scores. It is possible to disable this option as well.
