When he’s not making or solving crosswords, he likes writing Wikipedia pages, listening to albums he’s never listened to before, and eating really good burgers.

What's the most memorable puzzle you’ve ever created?

I have a soft spot for my Wednesday, January 12, 2022 New York Times crossword, which had a theme that proved fiendish to develop (even with some programmatic help from the CMU Pronouncing Dictionary), but ultimately turned out really clean and tight.

What’s your all time favourite crossword clue?

My favorite clue has to be [Top gun?] for T-SHIRT CANNON. It feels so elegant, and the wordplay is so unexpected. I think the first puzzle I saw it in was by Trent Evans.
