About the role

The company plans to expand further into the current market and also grow into new market segments with promising applications like the use of games in marketing and employee engagement. To support these plans, the company seeks individuals interested in helping grow the business and willing to be flexible to take on an active role working across different areas in the business team.

You will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s sales pipeline and expanding our customer base by generating, qualifying and closing leads through inbound/outbound prospecting efforts, engaging potential clients, and nurturing relationships and qualifying opportunities.

Key responsibilities:
• Research and gather information about target accounts and key decision-makers to
personalize outreach efforts and effectively communicate our value proposition.
• Drive inbound and outbound prospecting activities to identify and qualify potential leads
through various channels including email campaigns, social media outreach, events, etc.
• Engage with prospects via phone, email, and other channels to initiate conversations,
understand their needs and identify opportunities for using our platform.
• Qualify leads based on set criteria and schedule appointments or product demos, ensuring a
smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with business and product teams to develop targeted campaigns,
messaging, and plans to drive lead generation and accelerate the sales cycle.
• Utilize CRM tools to manage and track lead activities, update prospect information, and
ensure accurate and timely reporting of business development activity.
• Develop a strong understanding of the product, competition, industry trends to deliver high
quality demos, articulate our value proposition, address prospect questions, etc.
• Maintain communication and follow through with prospective customers

Key skills/attributes:
• MBA or equivalent, preferably with 1-2 years of experience in business development or a
similar role, in a SaaS or technology product firms
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and build
rapport with prospects all over the globe..
• Highly motivated and results-driven with a proactive attitude and a willingness to take
initiative.
• Resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, hands-on, and enthusiastic about growing the
business.
• International exposure is a plus.
• Learning mindset and ability to use sales tools (like Apollo, Clay, AI tools)
* Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances in a start-up environment.
• Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus.
• Personal interest in puzzles and smart games and/or the publishing market is highly desirable.

Optionally, the ability to work at night is a plus (although it is not a strict requirement.)
